Spear Press Steel Mace Exercise Description
Bring the mace to the spear top ready position, hand close to the sphere. From there, press the mace overhead. The challenge will be to keep the mace evenly horizontal throughout the press and watching that you do not begin to bend or rotate out to one side due to the offset weight in one hand. Work to get full elbow lock as you simultaneously drive up through your fists and down through your shoulders. To bring the mace back to the start, pull down actively as though trying to lift your body off the ground.
