Lateral Arc Lunge Steel Mace Exercise Description
When performing the Lateral Arc Lunge Steel Mace Exercise your feet will stay in place throughout this lunge variation. Starting in a side load lunge, perform a vertical pull over as you rise up out of the lunge. As the mace passes behind the neck to come around the other side, pivot on your feet to rotate around 180 degrees to perform a lunge in the opposite direction.
When you reach the opposite side, your arms should have reoriented so you are coming out of the pull over, the mace coming down into the side load ready position as reach the bottom of the lunge.
Remember, if you started on the right side, you will be loaded on the left side when you’ve transitioned 180 degrees back.
