Curling Spiral Press Steel Mace Exercise Description
To perform the Curling Spiral Press Steel Mace Exercise start with the even curl to outward rotation, orientation of the steel mace to the outward press position, then adjust your elbow out. Complete an outward press. Rotate back to the even curl, finish the curl and repeat.
Focus on maintaining control of the long lever, that is the handle, during the rotation so it doesn’t swing out past the perpendicular angles. Stop it on a dime before pressing.
And remember, press the mace overhead by driving the elbow out to the side while maintaining a vertical forearm angle and pull that mace back down strong as if doing a pull up.
